VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) – Investigators are looking into what started a fire at the Matterhorn Inn in Vail Saturday morning.
The blaze broke out before 5 a.m. and displaced residents from 11 units.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found three of the single story units engulfed in flames and immediately began suppression operations while checking to make sure the units had all been evacuated,” Interim Fire Chief Steve Pischke said in a statement.

The fire heavily damaged the inn and one tenant was taken to the hospital.
A K-9 dog with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation was helping with the case.
